TGTG is an inclusive group of women who would like to host events from the large and intentional, such as fundraisers and volunteer days, to small and whimsical like a last minute hike, a book swap, or a show watching gathering. This group provides a way for women in their thirties to get to know each other and dream up fun adventures and excuses to explore the area, be girly, become involved with the community, inspire each other, and be good to each other.

Why is this not your average women's book club? 1. We are going to read fun intelligent books that probably won't be on Oprah's list. 2. We are going to meet up in bars and pubs (in the Beavertonish area) instead of living rooms and coffee shops. 3. You don't have to be a big reader, just read a few pages so you can discuss. You will never feel bad for not finishing the book here! 4. Last but not least we wont take ourselves to seriously. This is about meeting new friends and having a good time. …

We are an eclectic group of readers from all parts of the greater Portland area looking to recruit new members.  We currently have approximately 10 readers.  Our meetings last 1-2 hours and typically have about 5 in attendance.  We come from all walks of life and all ages.
