I decided to start the group because I cannot find a book club that assigns books that are more to my liking. So I am hoping to find other girls who will enjoy the type of books I love to read. I read both fiction and non fiction, but my main interest is stories that touch upon specific things: feminism, sexuality, mental health, etc. So join my group if you are looking to stay local in Brooklyn, like to drink and like to read.

This book club is for fun Whitestone women who love to read fiction and chick lit books and would like to get together to talk about the book and meet new friends.      

This is book club for people who want to catch up on their modern classics such as Lolita, Catch-22 and On the Road. Book choices will be from the 20th century and on.
