Stealing Nasreen Book Readings in Maine
WHAT: Farzana Doctor will be at the University of Maine (Orono) and at the Bangor Public Library to read from her critically acclaimed debut novel, Stealing Nasreen. A doomed love triangle of sorts, the novel explores what happens when a South Asian lesbian becomes enmeshed in the lives of an apparently straight new immigrant couple from Mumbai. WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday April 15th, 6:30-7:30pm at the Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow Street, Bangor.
